FROM MADEIRA WITH LOVE....! Found in an estate liquidation on the island of Madeira in Portugal. Vintage Famille Rose pattern vase signed as illustrated, "Fabricado Em Macau". The vase stands 10 inches tall and has an elaborate hand enhanced pattern that goes full round. This is a traditional pattern on a traditional Chinese shaped vase. Macau produced this ware during the Portuguese occupation of the island which spanned centuries.....ending at the end of the last century. As a result, for generations, the Portuguese taste in home decorating usually incorporated Asian Porcelains. This example has survived good previously used condition free of chips, cracks or abrasions. I inserted a standard size playing card in one photo as a reference for size. MUCH OBLIGED...
