#1190 Standard Ash Blond Barbie in tagged vintage Japanese Exclusive minidress. Although her face has darkened, the features are original and untouched, as are the finger and toe nails. Japan Barbie: Yasuhiro Sekiguchi Collection, pg. It is in excellent condition. The white collar, cuffs, and plaquette have intact lace detailing. The Standard Barbie doll has centered blue eyes with brown shadow, ash blond hair tied with original pink bow, left rear marked 1, right rear marked Midge ™ /@ 1962/ Barbie ®/@ 1958/BY/MATTEL INC./PATENTED. Although her face has darkened, the features are original and untouched, as are the finger and toe nails. The striped navy mini-dress is tagged Barbie ®/© BY MATTEL INC. as pictured in Japan Barbie: Yasuhiro Sekiguchi Collection , pg. 87 . It is in excellent condition. The white collar, cuffs, and plaquette have intact lace detailing. Dress f abric, gold buttons (3 groups of 2 gold beads), and the 2 hook closures and thread loops in the back are there . Also included is a pair of black closed toe heels marked “Japan” and 1970 Living Barbie and Living Skipper Mattel booklet. The booklet’s back page has been scribbled on but the remaining pages are in excellent condition. The dressed doll comes in a display box with liner that came with her purchase. CONDITION Items kept in smoke free home. Repairs using Mattel buttons, snaps, etc. may have been made where needed to preserve garments. Garments may also have been cleaned to remove odors or significant dirt. (See Picture # for inside view.)
