1930s 1940s Navy Floral Rayon Day Dress Side Button Pinked Seams 36 Bust. • Pinked interior seams consistent with late 1930s–early 1940s construction. • Soft rayon fabric with lovely drape. • Decorative light blue pleated inset panels. There are a few small holes/splits in the light blue pleated inset panel (see photos). Beautiful late 1930s to early 1940s navy floral rayon day dress featuring a classic side button closure and decorative pleated inset panels. Details: • Soft rayon fabric with lovely drape • Navy ground with delicate cream floral print • Fitted waist silhouette • Side button placket • Long sleeves with button cuffs • Decorative light blue pleated inset panels • Pinked interior seams consistent with late 1930s–early 1940s construction Measurements (flat): Bust: 18” pit to pit (36”) Waist: 15” (30”) Length: 42” Condition: Good wearable vintage condition. Structurally sound with no major damage to the main body of the dress. Flaws to note: There are a few small holes/splits in the light blue pleated inset panel (see photos). These appear localized and could be stabilized or carefully repaired if desired. The navy floral body fabric remains intact. All buttons present. Seams strong. No widespread fabric shattering. A lovely authentic example of late 1930s–early WWII era rayon daywear.
