1940s Deep Rose Velvet Gown with Back Bow Detail, Size XS ౨ৎ Bust: up to 32” ౨ৎ Waist: 24” ౨ৎ Hips: up to 50” ౨ৎ Length: 40” shoulder to hem ౨ৎ Fabric: silk or rayon velvet Sumptuous 1940s Kay Selig evening gown in a striking pinkish-red velvet, sculpted in the era’s signature bias cut for a fluid, body-skimming drape. Features a graceful cowl neckline, short puffed sleeves, and a dramatic wide skirt. The back is adorned with an oversized bow detail, adding sculptural romance to the silhouette. Side metal zipper closure for entry with hook & eye clasps. Bust is fully lined. Good vintage condition. Shows small scattered marks including pen marks at the shoulder & bust, 2 light stains near the front hem, and brown storage dirt to the entire back. May lift with additional gentle cleaning, as the garment has not been freshly laundered. Fabric retains a beautiful weight and luster overall.
