1940s–50s Showgirl Sequin Trimmed Bodice Top, Black Cotton, Size XS–S ౨ৎ Bust: up to 32” ౨ৎ Waist: up to 26” ౨ৎ Length (top of strap to point): 19.5” A striking mid-century showgirl or costume bodice in softened black cotton with hand-applied rainbow sequin trim along the sweetheart neckline. Fitted construction with straps, slight V-point front hem, and original back hook closures. Likely once paired with a performance skirt or tulle tiers, a beautiful standalone piece for styling. Overall well-worn vintage condition. Straps feel like contemporary ribbon & can be replaced with proper straps. All boning has been removed. Discoloration & wear throughout, but nothing noticeable when worn. The closures look like someone was moving the hook & eyes and gave up partway thru, thus the sizing can be adjusted.
