Our grades follow the same industry-accepted standards as PSA, SGC, etc. Except for NR-MINT (7), the grades you see in our titles are ranges . For example, when we grade a card EX-EXMINT, we are grading the card no less than a 5 and no better than 6.5. What does “Low Grade” mean? This is another way of saying POOR to GOOD, which are the lowest grades on a standard 10 point grading scale. GMC cards listed as Low Grade fall between a 1 to no more than 2.5. What does “Filler” mean? These are low quality cards. A collector might buy a filler card to “fill” a hole in a set until a better copy is found. When we say “filler” the card is no better than a POOR (1) or AUTHENTIC rating as these cards exhibit substantial CREASING, MARKS/WRITING, STAINS, PAPER-LOSS, RECOLORING, TRIMMING/CUTTING or other significant damage OR alteration. What does “Minimum Size” mean ? This means the card offered is a factory cut card that does NOT measure the minimum accepted size (left to right, or top to bottom) for that particular card issue. If we call a card “minimum size” that means we did NOT find evidence of trimming, but the card probably will be rejected by PSA or other authenticators as below minimum size. What does “Trimmed” mean? This means our inspection of the card shows evidence of trimming along one or more of the edges. What does “Miscut” mean? This means our inspection of the card shows evidence of a factory cutting flaw, such as an edge not getting cut clean and square. What does “Recolored” mean? This means our inspection of the card shows evidence of recoloring of the card, typically in the corners or the along the edges. What does “Altered Stock” mean? This term is used to describe a card that exhibits intentional, or non-intentional, alteration to the card stock. Examples include, but are not limited to, alteration from a screw down holder, pressing of corner(s), pressing of a crease/wrinkle, enhancement to the natural gloss, eraser marks or marks left from attempting to remove something from the surface. What is your return policy for autographed cards? If an autographed card is listed without a COA (Certificate of Authentication), we offer six months for a customer to return the card if they find the autograph unable to be authenticated. We will only accept the courtesy return window for non-COA autographed cards if the following credible grading companies determine the auto is unauthentic within the six months; PSA, JSA, SGC, and Beckett. Any other grading company will not be accepted. Please note that we do not authenticate autographs unless listed otherwise in the listing title nor offer the feature to get the autographed card certified if a request is sent. I'm a regular purchaser and have been for years. I come back because I am continually impressed with their vast selection of vintage cards. They do a great job of describing, packing and shipping their cards. On those rare occasions when an issue does come up, it is addressed and resolved quickly. High numbers auction acquisition-----1961 Topps baseball card #554 Pittsburgh Pirates team card arrived in good time of 4 delivery dates and well within the projected delivery parameters on March 29th. Secured via successful auction bid. Well packaged and protected item enclosed within. Very good card condition as described. Intact corners and no surface blemishes except the seller noted small corner crease(faint). Good auction bid/purchase price that competes well. Satisfied buyer/collector.
