You are looking at a copy of the RARE indie/underground comic book DYKE SHORTS written, drawn, and published by MARY SHORTS back in 1978. I admittedly do not know much about this comic book or its creator. Below is a description from taken from the Abe Books website: The second one-shot comic by lesbian cartoonist and writer, Mary Wings (1949-2024). Credited with being some of the first comics dealing with homosexual themes in a non-erotic context, Dyke Shorts are a collection of comic tales dealing with personal lesbian experiences such as self-discovery, coming out, artificial insemination, and more. I'm going to hit you with the classic, "I'm not a professional grader" line. The book obviously has been well read over the years and has clear wear but I think it is in decent shape for its rarity and would definitely benefit from a clea n and a press. Please examine the photos provided and come to your own conclusion/opinion on the comic's condition.
