4 Vintage Royal Worcester Herbs Black Mustard Bread & Butter/Appetizer Plates. The bread & butter plates are made of fine porcelain. The Worcester Herbs patterns are based on detailed botanical illustrations from the 18th and 19th centuries. The Black Mustard pattern features realistic blooming Brassica Nigra with a brown butterfly in the center of the plate with a vividly colored border of daises, pinks, violets, and rosemary flowers and a thin, leaf green rim. Offering for sale, a vintage set of 4 Royal Worcester, Worcester Herbs Black Mustard, 6-3/4” diameter BREAD & BUTTER / APPETIZER PLATES. The bread & butter plates are made of fine porcelain. The Worcester Herbs patterns are based on detailed botanical illustrations from the 18th and 19th centuries. Flowering Black Mustard symbolizes hope, resilience, strength and new beginnings. The Royal Worcester patterns were introduced in 1990 and discontinued in about 2009. From the bread and butter plates fine print back stamp is an illustrator and date stamp dating these 4 plates from 1998. Each bread and butter /appetizer plate is 6-3/4” diameter and is 5/8” tall. The set of 4 plates weighs 1 lbs 13.4 oz. These plates are safe to use in the dishwasher, the microwave oven, and the freezer. The bread & butter plate size is versatile and the plate can be used as a dessert plate, an appetizer plate, a sandwich plate or a snack plate. The set of 4 vintage Worcester Herbs Black Mustard bread & butter plates is used, in excellent, “like new” condition.
