Description

I purchased this maxi skirt in the mid 1980’s, from the look of the labels it was probably from the Freemans or possibly the Grattans catalogue. It’s a size 12, has a fitted waistband with eight black button that fasten up the centre front. This skirt is made up of twelve panels that gently flare out from the waistband, a long line maxi length, the fabric is viscose and has a nice soft feel to it, in a white polka dot pattern on a black background, it hang’s beautifully. This skirt was worn by me back in the 80’s but not that much, it’s still in very good used vintage condition with plenty of wear left in it, shame to have it stuck in a drawer and not being enjoyed. Machine washable, 100% viscose Measurements Around the waistband approximately 68cm or 26.75 inches From top of waistband to hem approximately 86cm or 34 inches Hips (when skirt lied flat) approximately 120cm around or 47 inches Hem when skirt lied flat very approximately 131cm or 51.5inches across or 262cm or 103 inches total around…. **Please note** the hem was difficult to measure so this is just a guide to give you an idea of the skirts fullness.
