Adorable Vintage BAMBI Deer Fawn Hand Painted Ceramic Figurine, Japan. It was likely produced in the 1940’s. Made in Japan. There are two well-made repairs. One made to one of the legs and one to the tail; They very hard to notice, and I only found them under bright photography lights (you can almost see them in the last two photos). DETAILS This beautiful hand painted glazed ceramic figurine was obviously inspired by the movie, “Bambi” - with the trademark eyes, stance, and butterfly. It was likely produced in the 1940’s. Made in Japan. Good vintage condition. There is some very light paint wear to the butterfly on the tail (see photo). There are two well-made repairs. One made to one of the legs and one to the tail; They very hard to notice, and I only found them under bright photography lights (you can almost see them in the last two photos).
