ALADDIN STYLE SLIPPERS 🧞♂️ L Vintage Amy Jo Gladstone "Collection" line slipper heels Handmade couture shoes from NYC, actually made in her Bronx atelier in the mid 90s. RARE TIME CAPSULE~never worn. These were gifted to celebs at the Oscars and monogrammed for Julia Roberts in Ocean's Eleven, Oprah and other actresses. Leonardo DiCaprio even gifted his mom a pair. These are Marie Antoinette style, made to replicate the fabrics, style and colors of 1700s France. The fabric originates in the Middle East. Tapestry paisley jacquard damask in a black, burgundy and gold design, it looks like Lee Jofa fabric, very posh. Interior cushioned sole is lined with a Merlot and Ivory striped grosgrain corded tapestry fabric, interior top is lined with a warm soft velour or velvet for a cozy fit. Soles are leather, heels are in the Louis XVI style, square NEW, never worn Size 7.5 to 8, N **actual measurements are 9 inches in length (before the tiny squared toe box), 3.25 inch width at widest, measured across the leather sole Toes are square, tapered Rare STYLE and fabric- I cannot find this specific design so they could have been a design sample. All of her shoes were handmade in her NY atelier. These are called "slipper mules" and thusly she uses the S, M, & L for size. You can see the "L" on the bottom of the sole. They fit like a 7.5 N (AA width) These are suitable and would be lovely as a gift-I will gift wrap beautifully before shipment.
Shipped very quickly. The dress fits as listed, although I had to look up size conversions which was easy thanks to the fashion baddies of the internet. Dress was packaged safely. This was a great gem of a find and exactly what I was looking for in a vintage wedding dress for my price range. Can't wait to wear it!
WONDERFU!! The quilt is beautiful and soft - was just as described and she also answered a few questions that were specific to me. She was so helpful and patient and just a clearly good person!
