Best Buy Fashions #9572 is a SuperStar era ensemble that was manufactured for Barbie and her same-sized friends in Hong Kong (?) for Mattel circa 1976. The ensemble features a pair of yellow, black, and white plaid gauchos styled with a black velveteen waistband and a coordinating yellow tricot long sleeve blouse. This fashion remains in sturdy condition with light age related wear and soil. The elasticized waistband along the back lower right side of the blouse has lost stitching, while the front right leg of the gauchos sustains a tiny "speckle" midway and a small seam split along the front right side of its waistband. The gauchos' back button closure is intact, though both sides of its opening are unfinished and the blouse does not have a neckline closure. Both "faults" are probably due to production design. Stray threads may need snipping. Please be aware that Barbie's Best Buy Fashions were manufactured as budget outfits and may be flawed from production and not doll wear.
