Blue Boy Figurine Glazed Porcelain 3.5" Tall Occupied Japan Gold Trim Vintage. The piece is inspired by the Thomas Gainsborough painting which was inspired by the five eldest children of Charles I. It has gold trim on his collar and on the outer edge of the base. It is simply marked "OCCUPIED JAPAN" which would place it to the middle to late 1940's. This is a vintage piece from occupied Japan that features The Blue Boy. The piece is inspired by the Thomas Gainsborough painting which was inspired by the five eldest children of Charles I. This figurine features a regal looking boy dressed in blue holding a black hat with a feather plume. It has gold trim on his collar and on the outer edge of the base. It is simply marked "OCCUPIED JAPAN" which would place it to the middle to late 1940's. It stands approximately 3 1/2 inches tall and is about 1 1/2 inches long.
