According to the liner notes, this album was pressed in very limited numbers as a gift to friends of the musicians — it was never commercially sold. Copies never or almost never surface. Although the cover suggests a piano‑duo jazz session, some of the music is Latin‑jazz in character featuring Cuban and rhumba‑based rhythms, supported by bongos on one track, with Mimi Selig and Tony Scanlin here and there weaving lively, percussive piano lines that draw heavily from Afro‑Cuban patterns.
