This Cocoon raincoat by MacDonald Originals is well made and stylish. There is no size label, but I think it must be about a 16. Please see measurements below for this coat. The collar can be left down or turned up. The sleeves are an elegant tapered design. They are not 'raglan, (not attached to neckline), and not 'leg of mutton', (tapered but no puff / bulk on shoulder), but they are tailored with a seam along the back of the arm as well as underneath the arm. So they are roomy at the top but neater on the lower arm where they can be tucked with a tab. The deep pleat at the rear can be left free or closed with the tab. There is a 'rain shield' at the back and double fabric over the front. Cocoon was founded in Scotland in 1985, so it will probably be from the latter 1980s or 1990s before Cocoon moved to England. This coat was perhaps made in Alexandria, at the south end of Loch Lomond. ... Measurements. (approx) : shoulder seam to shoulder seam - 50 cm arm pit to pit - 59 cm sleeve length from arm pit - 50 cm length at back from neck seam - 124 cm ... Postage can be merged and the excess returned.
