Conrail ex-Pennsylvania 3-Bay Covered Hopper with elongated hatches N Scale Micro-Trains Line Factory Weathered MTL #094 45 990 Road #CR 888538 Originally painted for the Pennsylvania Railroad in a hopper grey scheme, this car eventually made its way to the Conrail roster where it was repainted in a hopper red color, and lettered for "grain service only". New York Central merged with it's rival, the Pennsylvania Railroad, and in 1968 formed Penn Central, which went bankrupt two years laer and was then merged into Conrail in 1976. Made in America!
