CORSET COVER, CAMISOLE, LACE TRIM, ADJUSTABLE WAIST, SIDE FASTENING. This early Edwardian corset cover has a lace insert at the neck, lace trim at the shoulders, and buttons to fasten at the side. It has an adjustable waist, fastening with strings in front. It measures 42" around at the bust, fully extended, 36" around at the waist. The mannequin has a 34" bust, 25" waist, 15" shoulder span in back, for reference. This corset cover was for a large-busted lady, and comes from the same estate as the other cotton example I have listed. It's in good condition, with 10 holes in front to the lace, I have shown the 3 or 4 larger ones. One of the buttons at the side is missing, one buttonhole, the top one, has torn a bit and could be reinforced to hold the button a little better. There are some faint spots at the back near the bottom at the waist, a pinhole in the same area, a smudge directly to the right of the seam in back.
