I purchased these boots years ago and had barely used them up until the last year and a half. They are in generally great shape with various scratches and surface wear throughout. The soles are in excellent condition and have lots of life left, as I used these in mostly mild and grassy terrain. There are no tears in the lining and the insoles are in great shape. These boots are built on Danner’s 503 last shape and are going to be true to size for most people; I am a men’s 10.5 and these fit perfect. They are very light and supple, much more so than other Danner boots like the mountain light. The outsoles are fairly flexible and cushy, so they’re easy on the feet. The tongue gusset reaches almost all the way to the ankle which does really good job at keeping water out. I’ve worn these in rain and muck and they’ve kept my feet dry. I cleaned these boots thoroughly with Danner boot cleaner, gave them a light coat of Bick leather conditioner and brushed the insoles and lining, so they are clean, odor free and ready to wear.
