The size of this dress is the HER Universe 0-plus size, which is their smallest plus size dress at HER. Please consult the HER Universe size chart by performing a search using "her universe size & fit guide". It is "approximately" an XL but, importantly as noted, please consult the HER size chart along with the actual measurements of this dress provided below. My wife carefully measured the dress offered here. The approximate dimensions of the dress, which she measured are: Underarm to underarm: 42" Waist: 36" Nape of back to waist: 13" Skirt Length: 29" Underarm to waist: 7" Wife did say it was a lovely dress.
