The early Maxell HGX Gold HiFi are a favorite, and look beautiful. They record well, too, but let's be honest, they look amazing with the gold label. I keep these on hand because I still enjoy editing down Hi8 camera masters to VHS and Beta, for the old school viewing experience. Awesome seller. A+++
