The Lenox Butterfly Meadow pattern was introduced in 1999 and remains a popular, everyday table setting today featuring colorful flowers with Butterflies and a Dragonfly on a white plate. The set of dinner plates includes 1 of each of the following patterns: Orange Sulfur Butterfly, Eastern Tail Blue Butterfly, Fritillary Butterfly, Swallowtail Butterfly, Monarch Butterfly, and a Dragonfly. The rim of the dinner plate is scalloped with ribs extending into the well of the plate. The flying insects and botanical design is on the front of the plate with a decorative black wreath Lenox backstamp. The chip resistant porcelain luncheon plates are 9-1/8” diameter and are 1” tall and each plate weighs 14.3 ounces. The plates are pretty enough to use for special occasions yet durable enough for every day use. The plates are made of an engineered porcelain to enhance their durability. The plates are advertised as freezer to oven to table to dishwasher safe. Even though these are technically “Luncheon” plates, they are big enough to be small dinner plates, and would be a beautiful addition to any table. They could also be used as large salad plates, sandwich plates or dessert plates. The Butterfly Meadow Luncheon Plates are in used condition with no chips, nicks, or staining.
