Giant 1/3 Scale Sopwith Pup Plans, Templates and Instructions You are bidding on a new set of plans for a Giant 1/3 Scale Sopwith Pup. It includes seven sheets of plans and templates/patterns for cutting the parts for this beauty. It also comes with the instructions. Construction is balsa and ply.This is a great flying plane and a very good scale design. Other plans are for sale too. I'll be listing them as I pull them out. This plan is in perfect condition. It was manufactured by the Sopwith Aviation Company and was officially named the Sopwith Scout . It was nicknamed the Pup because it looked like a smaller version of the two-seat Sopwith 1 1/2 Strutter; the name Pup was not used officially as it was reportedly thought to be undignified.
