In addition I placed a slit just above my knee 27” from bottom of dress with 2.5” heels on. I ended up leaving my intended shoes by accident and wore a heel 2” and the dress worked great. I felt the dress just flowed better when walking with slit. All alterations were professionally done. The lined portion of the dress was altered in conjunction with the changes. All edges were surged on lining. Dress was purchased for $380. Worn for less than 4 hours, and I am asking $280.
