  1. Hauntingly, achingly beautiful painting in the classical Persian style. I was almost shaking while unpacking this. There is embodied in this piece such a sense of longing for the future & the hope of what will be, reminiscent of some of the Roman poet Vergil's immortal verses, that I am rapt in reverie of memories long unfurled. This evokes such diaphanous images in my mind that it is inexpressible. Painting is in the uniquely fantastical style of Persian art. Thanks, miniatures-world! Sigh!
