Kestner 164 Antique Doll 28". She also has a small dark rub (see those defects in the photo of her forehead). See photos. Her price reflects these problems with her body. This Kestner 164 is a big heavy girl - 28 inches tall. She has blue replacement set eyes and a couple of firing ash spots on her face. She also has a small dark rub (see those defects in the photo of her forehead). Her head has been lighted showing her bisque has no hairlines, repairs or other damage. She has her original Kestner body with its original patina. However, she was once strung too tight which damaged where the cords come out of the lower part of her body to her legs. See photos. Now to protect further damage her stringing is a big looser to protect those spots but is tight enouph to hold her head up and have her stand up (I have had no problem in posing her for photos) with a proper stand). Note - her stringing is not too tight to avoid causing further damage. Her price reflects these problems with her body.
