These boots are a patchwork/harlequin-style exotic leather ( with caiman skin with a beautiful scale pattern and Lucchese Classic construction). The color is best described as a two-tone reddish-brown and dark chocolate brown in a diamond/checkerboard pattern. More specifically, I’d call the overall palette “Cognac and Espresso” or “Burnt Orange-Brown Harlequin” — the lighter squares have that warm, rich cognac/terracotta/reddish-brown glow (almost like a deep rust or whiskey tone with reddish undertones), while the darker ones are a true deep espresso/chocolate brown. The contrast gives them a bold, almost quilted or argyle-like visual pop that really stands out in natural light! They are custom by Lucchese and limited and was made-to-order with a unique colorway on a Classic 11 (with the 2E width) The way the scales catch the light differently in each square adds a ton of depth and character.
