THIS SERIES B OR 2nd PRINTING COPY IS 77 YEARS OLD BASED ON THE BACK COVER WHICH, ACCORDING TO Santis' REFERENCE WAS USED IN 1947; THIS BOOK IS IN GOOD CONDITION FOR ITS' AGE SAVE THE FRONT COVER HAS BEEN TAPED BACK ONTO THE BOOK, see below. Thirty-three poems are included with Malvern's illustrations which are in full color or black & white. Marks: Name, twice in pencil, tape as noted above, no other writing on pages or covers; back cover has a tan discolor at top edge on DEN in GOLDEN & very minor light tan smudges. Tears: A 3/16" to a bottom page edge. Corners: Page all are very good. Cover are square but all have some paper cover loss showing the board. Binding: Secure, again front cover has been taped to the book; top spine corner has 6/8" gold paper loss with 7/16" loss to bottom & same at bottom back of spine. Cover: Front has tiny spots of paper cover loss showing white while board edges have very shallow paper cover loss especially the bottom edge. Back has the discolor noted above, very minor color loss with considerable color loss at 3/4 corners & 6 3/8" paper cover separation at bottom edge in groove where book bends & on inside at binding a 2 1/2" separation. The book came and survived the journey. It was nicely packaged. The shipping time was about a week, which was fine. I bought the book for my 4yo Disney princess lover and she was very happy with it. The book is old but in very good condition for its age. Someone wrote on the inside cover, a family name, but all the story pages were clean and in great condition. Communication with the seller was great. I am happy with my purchase and would buy from this seller again.
