Loro Piana Horsey 1992 Olympics Limited Series Beige Jacket - Size XL One of the most iconic jackets that Loro Piana sells, this is a limited series reproduction of the "Horsey" utility jackets made by Loro Piana for the 1992 Olympics Italian team. Comes in a beige water and wind-resistant technical polyester fabric akin to their Storm System pieces (but not actually rated as such, so don't go out in a typhoon), accented with a buttery but thin leather collar, and lined with a tasteful plaid pattern. This jacket truly has it all, with more to discover each time you wear it. From drawstrings to brass double zippers, buttoned pockets, tortoiseshell buttons, layered knit-rib storm cuffs in the sleeves, snap closure pockets, and snap closure back vents inspired from equestrian jackets, it is one of the finest examples of clothing one could aspire to own. However, it does come with a few flaws from previous use - a mark on the sleeve exterior, slight piling on the liner, and the thin leather of the collar has worn off a little from being taken on and off the hanger. Not very visible while worn, though. A good dry cleaner should solve some of this, but it being pre-worn is still a compromise to be considered when acquiring this magnificent jacket. Shoulder width is about 21", but tricky to determine with no outside seams Pit-to-pit chest measurement at the seam: 23.5" (the armpits seem to be slouchy/low, keep in mind) Waist/Hem Width: 24" Length from neck: 34" Sleeve length: 24" (again, no shoulder seams) Please see all images, what you see is what you purchase! Nice reasonably priced package. Has to do a bit of cleanup work on the items, but they were listed as used, so that is to be expected. Great communication and excellent packing. Fast shipper - just wish the USPS wasn't so slow from his locale. I would definitely buy from this seller again.
