Mary Wells started her musical career as a teenager; success soon followed. Blessed with a great voice and superb vocal range, she stacked up most of her hits before her 21st birthday - including such memorable songs such as "Two Lovers", "You Beat Me To The Punch, and the all-time classic "My Guy". After leaving Motown, Wells had limited success. A terminal illness later in life left her financially distraught. This great songstress sadly passed before her 50th birthday. There are no songs times given on the lp, so while grading I recorded the song legnths. SONG LEGNTHS: SIDE 1: Cut 1 - 2:28. Cut 2 - 2:42. Cut 3 - 2:45. Cut 4 - 2:38. Cut 5 - 2:50. Cut 6 - 2:50.
