Metal Edge Magazine: July 1988 (Please Read Description). Here is a list of those pages that have tears at the top. It's very disappointing that there are so many things that have happened to this edition. What is really surprising is how much great stuff it still has. I bought this magazine as a teenager, so it has been with me for a while. It's 38 years old and has seen better days. Before the internet, Metal Edge Magazine was where you went to get the good stuff. This July 1988 edition was, in my opinion, one of the best. It has tons of colorful pictures and articles of the bands I still love. Unfortunately, this magazine has some serious and some not so serious wear and tear. Some of the pages at the top have some damage to them. Here is a list of those pages that have tears at the top. Pages 3/4, 5/6, 9/10, 11/12, 13/14, 15/16, 17/18, 77/78, 79/80, 81/82, and 83/84. Some are bigger and some tears you might not even notice. I'll be uploading photos of this to perhaps help you see the tears. The last page 91/92 is a bit rough on the bottom as well. There are 3 pages that have some pen marks on an order form that never got sent off. These pages are 22, 23, and 81. The pages are still intact. Also, there are a few pages that are missing. Those are pages 7/8, 37/38, 42/43, 49/50, 59/60, and 75/76. Lastly, the middle centerfold is not included either. It's very disappointing that there are so many things that have happened to this edition. What is really surprising is how much great stuff it still has. Normally this July 1988 would have sold for a decent amount. But sadly I must be realistic here and sell it for way less.
