As the temperatures get colder, this jacket layer well on top of the under layers. The jacket has a fully adjustable hood which provides great protection from the elements. There are two lower hand pockets with zippers, and two upper chest pockets with zippers. There are underarm pit zips that can be used to dump heat during higher output activities. The brushed inner collar is comfortable on your skin when it's zipped up during windy and cold situations. While Sitka made the Jetstream to be a hunting jacket, the solid color version is great looking and fits well, making it an all purpose / everyday jacket. I wore the jacket for just one weekend while working on a fence. While the jacket condition is like new (only worn for two days), I did get some paint on the cuff of one of the sleeves. There are some other blemishes on the jacket from that weekend (photos included) but they will not have an affect on the overall performance of this top-quality Sitka Gear jacket. If you are looking for a perfectly, brand new jacket, this is not it. However, if you don't care about a few minor blemishes, this barely worn jacket will be a steal for you.
