This pipe is in MAGNIFICENT, BARELY USED condition, displays BEAUTIFUL BIRDSEYE & CROSS GRAIN , and needed only a very gentle cleaning and refurbishment to return to such stunning condition, especially for a pipe of it's age! It is a beautiful example of the quality and craftsmanship of Peterson pipes, especially their English made pieces (Peterson operated a factory in London until the 1950s), which some consider to be even better smokers than their Irish counterparts! All markings are crisp, a testament to the care taken of this classic pipe. The interior of the bowl is EXTREMELY clean, round, and smooth, showing almost no use at all. The rim edges are crisp and clean. The P-lip vulcanite stem is in pristine condition. This is a FANTASTIC APPROXIMATELY 100 YEAR (PLUS?) OLD PETERSON! A stunning pipe that will be loved by it's new owner for a looooong time. But don't take my word....let the pictures speak for themselves. This one is sure to be an eminent example of how well-preserved estate pipes often smoke better than new ones. This pipe also comes with a custom pipe sock to protect your investment. Markings : On the left of the shank is stamped PETERSON'S over SYSTEM over 3 and on the bottom is marked MADE IN over ENGLAND over NO. 363 . On the ferrule is stamped K&P over the three faux hallmarks next to PETERSON'S. All stampings are very readable. Dimensions : 5-1/16” long, 1-13/16” tall, 1-3/16" wide, with an 11/16 " chamber diameter. WEIGHT : 39 grams STEM: VULCANITE NO FILTER All of my pipes have been refurbished to like new condition. I go the extra mile, so you can light it up as soon as it arrives , and enjoy that first smoke right away. Every pipe is rigorously inspected, and then sanitized, refurbished, and restored with the most meticulous care taken to restoring it to original condition whenever possible.
