Pleasant Company American Girl Kirsten Larson 18 Inch Doll + Meet Outfit. Blue dress with floral print and white trim at collar and sleeve cuffs; Velcro closures at back and on sleeve cuffs. One pair of gray and gold-colored striped socks. This Kirsten Larson American Girl doll and "Meet Kirsten" outfit set are Pleasant Company products originally purchased in the 1990s (exact year not known). The back of the doll's neck shows the Pleasant Company stamp, and Kirsten's dress has its Pleasant Company tag intact (see photos). This doll set includes the following Pleasant Company items: 18-inch tall American Girl doll, Kirsten Larson One pair of gray and gold-colored striped socks One pair of brown, soft leather shoes with brown laces One pair of white bloomers with lace-like trim at cuffs Red-and-white striped apron with miniature pocket Two blue cloth hair ribbons Blue dress with floral print and white trim at collar and sleeve cuffs; Velcro closures at back and on sleeve cuffs. Pleasant Company tag in dress reads "Made in West-Germany for Pleasant Company Doll Contains: All New Synthetic Fiber 1986 Pleasant Company, Inc. 2135 ." The back side of the same tag reads "Dry Cleaning Recommended ." Notes on wear and tear: Kirsten's hair has been unbraided and re-braided several times. The doll's hair is in good condition but is by no means "factory new." The elastic waistband of the white bloomers has lost its stretch/bounce; the bloomers therefore have a very loose fit around the doll's waist.
