Postwar Lionel 6518 Transformer Car From 1956-58~w/Nice OB & Scarce Inserts. The die-cast body is flawless. You are bidding on a postwar Lionel #6518 Transformer Car that was cataloged from 1956 to 1958. This nice original car is in excellent+ condition and has no problems or damage. The die-cast body is flawless. The paint still has a super nice appearance with very few noticeable contact marks. The metal parts are rust-free and have excellent original finish. It has dual bar-end trucks with operating couplers. The transformer load is original and has four perfect original insulators. Absolutely nothing is broken or missing and there are no reproduction parts. The original box (w/scarce inserts) is still in excellent condition with no missing flaps.
