Rare VTG Cardinal Bakelite Backgammon Set With 1.25” Red & Butterscotch Checkers. The design of this particular board is very unique and hard to find. The 30 checkers weigh a total of 241 grams. Vintage Cardinal backgammon set with beautiful red and butterscotch Bakelite checkers. The design of this particular board is very unique and hard to find. The heavily swirled red checkers measure 31.00 mm x 8.25 mm. The butterscotch checkers, also heavily swirled, measure 30.97 mm x 8.19 mm. The 30 checkers weigh a total of 241 grams. The exterior of the board is in fair condition with a one inch long tear in the cover and some other scratches. See photos. The interior of the case is in excellent condition and the playing fields in like-new condition. The hinges and latches are free of tarnish and function properly. In summary, this is a beautiful set, perfect for any collector or enthusiast.
