Important: This is a new/never worn pair of sandals. However, a cobbler customized them for my late relative, whose left leg was 3/4” shorter than her right leg, by adding an extra thick sole to the heel of the left shoe. When I removed this custom extra thick sole, there was none of the very minor treading markings remaining on the left heel as you can see in the picture. Please know that this does NOT affect appreciably affect the height of the left heel relative to the right heel (i.e. when tried on, I couldn’t tell any difference; the left vs right were the same height and NOT uneven) and nor does it affect its functionality (I.e. the left heel is made of the same material throughout so even without the very minor treading markings it’s still got tread in terms of stability and non-slipping). The ‘defect’ is visually obvious when the shoe is turned over and inspected, but will not affect how it feels and functions when worn. Please refer to the photos.
