Shimano Calcutta 400 Right-Handed Bait casting Fishing Reel Made in Japan. Everything operates smoothly as it should on the reel. I could not see any markings on the outside of the reel. It almost looks like there were never any on it. It is much to clean to have had things wear off in my opinion. This vintage Shimano Calcutta 400 right hand retrieve fishing reel is in very good condition and has been very well taken care of. Everything operates smoothly as it should on the reel. I could not see any markings on the outside of the reel. It almost looks like there were never any on it. It is much to clean to have had things wear off in my opinion. I have read of some very early models not being marked but I am not sure if this is one of them. The only real marks are the product stamp on the reel foot and the initials ED on the reel foot as well. It will also come with a soft carry case which is a Daiwa not a Shimano but it helps protect the reel and is included.
