Wonderful ! ~ This GORGEOUS pair of long, lace curtains is French and dates to the early 1900's. ~ This beautiful textile is made using a light weight, white gauzy cotton thread woven into a floral and grid open pattern! At the top, there remains the old strip of ribbon tape used for hanging these with nails, probably from a bed frame. Beautiful pattern and texture that is all the more stunning in person! The tone of the cotton is antique aged white tone, and this pair is perfect for a timeworn, look! Ready to hang, and perfect for knit/crochet inspiration! ~*~ ( E920 ) MEASUREMENTS : Each of these gorgeous vintage curtains measures about 20.5 inches wide by 98 inches long. CONDITION : These lovely textiles are in as found, not freshly laundered condition. There are some pale marks that may or may not wash fully and rust stains at the top where these would have been hung by nails. One panel has 2 patches of holes and tears and the other has about 4 small patches of wear or small holes on the lace. Generally great condition for their age with some signs of time, wear and use; the crocheted weave looks a bit loose in a few spots, a few loose threads hanging about. Really quite lovely! ~*~
