The dust wrapper has been in a mylar cover so is in surprisingly good condition. It is NOT a Book Club edition. A first edition (1951) of "The Illustrated Man" by Ray Bradbury. It is an ex-library book but is in pretty good condition for all that. The dust wrapper has been in a mylar cover so is in surprisingly good condition. It is NOT a Book Club edition. The inside of the book has some cosmetic issues, like the "DISCARD" stamp inside the front and back covers, a couple of open tears but no lost text, and a couple of stains. There are a few small annotations, but no underlining or highlighting. The book is not cocked and does no lean, and the binding remains taut with no lost or loose pages. So, it is a little tired and not a collectors dream, but a good reading copy that is, after all, a true first edition.
