US Army Uniform Jacket Army Service Forces Australian Made ASF USAAF WW2. Up for auction is a US Army Service Forces officer jacket, made in Brisbane, Australia. Flawless condition, with no moth holes or snags. Has ASF patch and overseas bars, and a Brisbane tailor’s tag. Buttons and buckle are marked with Melbourne manufacturers, and the jacket is much more olive drab than US-made officer jackets. Measurements are: 40” chest, 24.5” sleeves, and 31.5” overall length (measured from the top of the collar to bottom seam in the back). Unnamed, unfortunately, but a great example of an unusual WW2 officer uniform. I picked this up on eBay a few months ago, and sadly have to part with it while downsizing my collection.
