Description

Wonderful stoneware studio pottery sandpiper shorebird sculpture by Andersen Design of Boothbay, Maine.This Andersen Design ceramic bird figurine is titled "The Gentle Sandpiper" and is one of their most beloved and desirable pieces. It features a matte brown and white textured glaze on the body, head and beak, with semi-gloss glazed eyes. The bird measures about 6" long and 3 1/2" high. It is signed "AD" on the underside. Excellent condition with no chips or cracks or repairs.
