It depicts a lady in a green dress wading through a creek, spied on by a cherub in a red hat, with another figure in the background. The design is framed by red hearts and striped borders. The back includes a handwritten message: "Woodburn February 11th 1913, Dear Neate, How are you all, Grandma Hanlon Much better We are all Well, Martha & the Babies, Mode has gone, Amanda's Rheumatism is bad, Heard from Grandmas Daughter some to, Mattie Opper," addressed to "Miss Maud Danner, Chariton, R.F.D. #7, Lucas Co., Iowa."
