Vintage 1930's 1940's Blue Velvet Bias Dress with Shirring/Size Small. This is a pretty blue silk velvet dress from the 1930's or early 1940's. It features shirring don the back with a well working brass zipper. The neckline has a small collar. The sleeves are shirred up the center. The bodice has covered buttons at the top and a double slit down the center front The waist is slightly raised and has a fabric half belt and covered buckle in front. There is a very small tear (half inch) near the left armhole (see photos) and a small L shaped teat at the back by the hem. (also see photos) A very lovely dress, and feels like wearing a cloud, so soft and light! Comes from a smoke free home.
