Vintage 1961 Mattel TALKING CHARMIN CHATTY CATHY Doll No Record/Disk. Her legs, arms and torso are molded hard plastic. Her clothes appear to be original with matching shoes. It’s the iconic inverted eyebrow that adds a tone of curiosity… or better yet -‘smarty pants’ to this 1961 Mattel talking “CHARMIN’ CHATTY CATHY’ Doll! This vintage collectible play doll has strawberry blonde straight hair, blue eyes that open and close, and a light complexion. As an original doll from the Chatty Cathy product line, she stands at 24 inches tall and has a vinyl head with rooted strawberry blond streaked hair. Her legs, arms and torso are molded hard plastic. It does not come with a record or disk so we CANNOT determine working condition however pull cord is intact and where the disk is inserted it is very clean as shown in pictures. Her clothes appear to be original with matching shoes. and are in good vintage condition. This doll has been in storage for decades and for that reason, gentle cleaning is recommended. Charmin’ is a sought-after piece for collectors of vintage dolls!
