Vintage Sterling Silver Navy Officer Hat Badge Pin 2.5g

Item too small to be a regulation cap insignia, also the crossed anchors are gold plated. I saw the ruler but the measurement didn’t register. I thought perhaps it was an example of the insignia proposed for the grey uniforms. It’s not, so my best guess is a sweetheart pin for a wife or girlfriend. Over priced for one of those. I’ll pay more attention next time. Otherwise, shipped quickly and well packaged.
