Vintage Weingeroff Goldtone Scarab Elephant Brooch Egyptian Revival 1975-1983. Made in the late 1970s to the early 1980s. Signed with a W for Weingeroff Enterprise. These carved stones commonly consist of natural or faux semi-precious gemstones. Design Features : The brooch features an openwork, gold-plated body of an elephant styled with an upturned trunk, which traditionally symbolizesgood luck. Vintage Signed Weingeroff gold-tone Egyptian Revival elephant scarab brooch . Made in the late 1970s to the early 1980s. Signed with a W for Weingeroff Enterprise. Brooch measures approximately 1 1/2" long and 1 1/8" tall. Back of brooch has gold-tone wear. Some of that gold-tone wear is on the edge of the upper tail. That side of the pin may have been repaired, I am not positive. The rest of the brooch is fine. SOLD as is only no returns.
