VINYL 45 DON GARDNER/D.D. SHARP I NEED YOUR LOVING/TELL ME VG+ N. SOUL FIRE 508. This is the only top 40 hit for the duo of Don Gardner and Dee Dee Ford. "I Need Your Loving", Fire 508, was a #20 hit in 1962. The flip side, "Tell Me", is a nice ballad sung by Dee Dee. While Gardner has a long, successful career in the music industry, Ford left after a few years. GRADING, VINYL: SIDE A) I could not discern any marks or defects on the vinyl, even though it was obviously played numerous times. Sounds great! GRADE: VG+. SIDE B) There is a very small ovoid smudge early part of the song that does not affect play. I could discern no other defects, however; there are a couple of light crackles from about 1:49 to 2:05. GRADE: VG+. GRADING, LABEL: Labels on both sides are NEAR MINT. Comes with green cardboard sleeve and clear plastic protective outer sleeve.
