Sjhe wears a satin gown made of a honeycomb pattern fabric, with a Juliet style and a train at the back. Wendy Ann Bride Doll 18" This Madame Alexander doll was made in the mid-1940s. She's all composition, with minor crazing to the face. Paint cracks on the body and be viewed in the photos - see photos for details. The doll herself is not visibly marked, which is typical of the Wendy Ann compos. Her mohair wig of deep auburn waves around the face down the nape of the neck. Glassine eyes. The gown is tagged "Wendy Ann by Madame Alexander All Rights Reserved." The shoes are white oilcloth with buckles. These, the veil and the flowers are vintage replacements.
