Margaret was a flower pot Munchkin and wore a flower pot on her head. Offered here are two truly unique one of a kind silicone molds of the official Munchkin handprint of the Coroner of Oz. MEINHARDT RAABE played the coroner in the original movie. My husband’s mother, Jean Nelson, was the founder of the Chesterton Wizard of Oz Festival and was solely responsible for bringing the Munchkins out of obscurity and back into the limelight. The original handprints were made by our family in 1991 and the munchkins wrote their names with a stick in the concrete and pressed their tiny hands to make the print. They were welcomed each year to the festival by thousands of fans. She was the owner of the Yellow Brick Road Gift Shop and Museum and the original handprints were on display for many years. The original stones were sold at auction by me several years ago. Prior to selling the stones, we made a silicone molds of Meinhardt Raabe and also of Margaret Pellegrini. The intent was to make some duplicates for fans, but never really got around to finishing the job. You could use the mold to make exact copies with paper mache, or a more durable material for use outside. There are two Meinhardt Raabe molds and one Margaret Pellegrini mold. Margaret was a flower pot Munchkin and wore a flower pot on her head. A copy of the Munchkin handprints would be a great item for an Oz themed museum or gift shop, or just any Oz I edited to add two photos of the completed blocks which were sold to a collector a few years ago.
