1984 Black Leather BILTRITE STEEL TOE COMBAT BOOTS Size 9.5 R Used, but Good. The soles are stamped "BILTRITE". Now these boots have been used, but not much - there is very little heel wear (see pics). But whoever did use them managed to get them dirty, and there are a few scars. You are bidding on a pair of black leather Biltrite steel toe combat boots size 9½ R. The top edges are embossed with "9½ R MB 3-84", which I assume dates these to March, 1984. The soles are stamped "BILTRITE". Now these boots have been used, but not much - there is very little heel wear (see pics). But whoever did use them managed to get them dirty, and there are a few scars. There is a splash of brown paint just on the underside of the lacings on the left boot, but this probably would not be visible when worn. And there are some random scuffs and nicks, the worst of which is on the tip of the right toe (which is steel, so functionally, it doesn't matter - see pics). These boots definitely need a good cleaning and a polish if you want them to shine (but how shiny do steel-toed boots have to be, anyway?). So these boots are not like new, and the price I'm starting them at reflects that. But they are very solid and serviceable, if you are looking for boots to do actual work, and not just spiffy ornaments.
